Therapy for Grief After Losing a Pet
YOUR GRIEF, TAKEN SERIOUSLY
Are you grieving the loss of a beloved pet and are finding that others don’t understand how devastating it is for you? Maybe you’re even finding yourself thinking, “Why can’t I seem to get over this?”
Is your pet very ill and you’re feeling confused about what to do and unable to find someone in your life with whom you can talk about it?
These experiences are often as difficult as many of the experiences we have with our human family members, but they aren’t always given the same level of support and understanding. This can contribute to feelings of grief and isolation. I understand that your pet is not “just a pet” but a loved and important part of your life. I can help you to work through your feelings in a supportive environment that respects the unique and loving relationship you had/have with your pet.
Please contact me if you would like to discuss starting therapy. I will be glad to hear from you.
