Therapist San Francisco | Who I Work With in Therapy

I’m a licensed psychotherapist working in San Francisco. I work with people from a variety of different backgrounds and in many different life circumstances. I work with teens, young adults, adults and couples. I provide relationship counseling to people in other relationship configurations. Many of my clients are straight and many of my clients are part of the lgbtq community. Geographically, my clients come from many places—ranging from people who immigrated to the U.S. to people who were born and raised in San Francisco.

In most instances, the kids I work with are 12 and older. However, I do offer Exposure-Response Prevention therapy families children younger than 12. This treatment is very effective for kids and adults struggling with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder or Phobias.

Approximately two-thirds of my clients are artists, unconventional people, part of the LGBTQ community, the polyamorous community, or have kink as an important part of their identity. The other one-third of my clients do not fall into any of these categories and were drawn to working with me for reasons unrelated to those areas of my practice. What all of my clients have in common is a desire to suffer less. Their hope for suffering less is also sometimes accompanied by an interest in personal growth or a desire to improve an important aspect of their lives.

I meet with clients for in-person therapy sessions in San Francisco. I also provide virtual counseling online via video.
